Meet Our New Chef
Andreas Leisinger, who has previously worked at a number of top restaurants in North Wales during his 14-year career, said he is looking forward to putting his own mark on 1891 and is launching a new range of seasonally inspired dishes at the restaurant this January.
As well as bringing a new mouth-watering menu to 1891, Andreas is passionate about creating delicious food for the whole family and will be hosting food-themed evenings which will include special offers and family discounts. The first of these nights include a special offer of ‘2-for-1’ on main meals every Thursday, and then every Friday, Saturday and Sunday ‘Kids eat free’ with a full paying adult.
Andreas started his culinary education at the renowned Restaurant Wasserschloss Inzlingen in Germany before moving to Scotland and then Llandudno where he worked at the St George’s Hotel, the Quay Hotel and Spa in Deganwy, before becoming head chef at Chantrey’s restaurant, which was awarded two AA Rosettes, at the Imperial Hotel, Llandudno.
